Strong Figures Show Where Companies are Now Spending to Grow Their Businesses

The figures don't lie. US. businesses know where the future of advertising lies with percentages exploding in 2010. It's the explosion of Internet advertising. Revenues rose a whopping 15% to $26 billion. Of all advertising, search engine advertising ranked number one with 46%. This was an increase of  12%  from 2009.

So what other areas of advertising growth have become popular and where are businesses projected to advertise in the coming year based on last years numbers?

Video marketing has accounted for 5% of the add dollars spent at 1.4 billion. Display advertising, which also includes video, rose 24% to a remarkable $8 billion from last year. Interestingly, sponsorship advertising catapulted 88% to $718 million. Mobile advertising has also shown a huge surge in popularity. The 2010 statistics estimates between $500 to $600 million according to IAB and PwC. This area of growth is expecting strong growth in the coming year...
