International Automobile Drivers License Case Study Report
The first step was in designing and developing the concept for what the website should look like and what information would be the most beneficial to be displayed. The next step was deciding which programming architecture would be best for this project. We decided to implement ASP.NET, Javascript, CSS and MS SQL for developing the site. For the Front-End development, we created static pages displaying information regarding requirements, how to apply, agent instructions, FAQs, etc. We also created a web form for accepting online application for international driver's document and allowed for an easy payment plan utilizing authorise.net payment gateway that accepts credit cards. We also programmed a section with a web form for people interested in becoming potential employees of IADC.
After the site went live there was a dramatic increase in the number of applications for the International Driver Document as well as for agent application. The user-friendly experience contributed to an increase in the website engagement.
